We are looking for candidates with an HR Business Partner background who are passionate about their work, possess strong interpersonal and project management skills, and ideally have previous experience working for an international media technology organisation. This individual will work closely with business leaders to ensure HR programmes and services support and drive Verizon Media’s business objectives. The role's focus will be primarily India business leaders as well as occasional remote support to APAC business units, as required.


Responsibilities:

Provides consultative support and guidance to managers on implementation / execution of HR Programmes.

Guides and coaches managers on building high performing organizations, increasing leadership capabilities and organisational effectiveness.

Helps to plan and facilitate different communications/team-building forums for client groups.

Participates in HR projects, partners with cross functional HR orgs to resolve complex HR issues or to execute initiatives for organisation/management needs.

May support across several business units and occasionally countries in APAC region.


Ideal Qualifications:

University graduate with considerable experience (guideline at least 4-5 years’) as an HRBP or HR Generalist working in a matrixed, global environment.

The successful candidate will have extensive (guideline at least 8+ years) of progressive HR experience and be able to bring in expertise in multiple HR fields.

A strong sense of customer service, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work in a fast-moving and challenging environment dealing with numerous people at different levels of the organisation.

Ability to embrace and manage change and strong influencing skills to achieve this.

Strong business acumen with sound judgment and the ability to understand the business and provide insights.

Familiarity with Indian employment law.

High standards of personal integrity, business ethics, honesty and discretion.

Passion for creating and encouraging diverse, multi-cultural teams.

Working in a multi-geography, multi-cultural environment, preferably from an international company background

Fluent English

Ability to travel occasionally within India ( the role is based in Bangalore, we have other offices in India)
