Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Head of User Acquisition to join us on our mission and help us connect new freelancers, independent professionals with our marketplace. You'll be focused primarily on the supply-side, which we view as the single biggest opportunity for in 2019. You will own, develop, and scale strategies for organic growth, paid acquisition, decreasing CAC, and ultimately growing new users across every TapChief market.



Our Supply Growth team creates long-term users by helping people discover the value of TapChief. We're responsible for understanding the end-to-end user journeys in order to optimize opportunities and help users realize the full potential of our products. We are comprised of many teams across the company, including Product, Engineering and Design.



Responsibilities:
Build a high-impact team by recruiting, onboarding and growing exceptional people to expand the team and foster a user first culture.
Deeply understand and measure the effectiveness of our logged out website & user acquisition funnels by defining and monitoring operational metrics for the team, run review cadences within team, and collaborating with research and product counterparts to understand our user needs and feed it back into our user acquisition strategy.
Manage critical cross-functional relationships and processes with product, engineering and analytics to drive the overall success of the Supply Growth team.
Set the team's strategy for optimizing user acquisition funnels to drive signups of users within defined user persona segments.
Manage the team's day-to day rhythms including meetings, resource planning, target setting, projects and cross-functional collaboration.
Foster a culture of impact, discipline around KPIs, rapid iteration, and harnessing insights from a marriage of data and user feedback.
Create and execute an SEO strategy that enables compounding organic growth for our key landing and product page.
Create and execute a robust inbound content marketing strategy and take complete ownership of the TapChief Blog and content pages.
Create and execute a paid marketing strategy to drive new user growth across all our markets. This will include creating, managing, and optimizing direct response and brand/social acquisition campaigns across all the channels you deem most important for TapChief (e.g. Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc).
Manage and allocate a user-acquisition budget effectively between driving user growth and experimenting with new channels.
You have the freedom to spend how you see fit, we'll want to see channel efficiency grow and acquisition costs fall over time.
Build and maintain a forecast for how our acquisition costs and lifetime value for customer cohorts will change over time; this will be a critical input into our overall business model and expansion strategy.
Regular reporting of progress, forecast, and challenges to our executive team. You'll need to over-communicate to ensure alignment across all functions within the company.
Partner closely with internal teammates to ensure incoming customers are directed towards high-converting in-product experiences that carry intent and context forward.



Requirements:
Experience leading user acquisition and growing a B2C marketplace is a big plus.
Proven ability to drive initiatives to meet specific KPIs (e.g. user sign ups, traffic, reach).
