Responsibilities and Duties
POSITION PROFILE – HR Data Systems Specialist
Position Objective
· To support the configuration and maintenance and development of the PeopleSoft HCM system.
Client Service Objectives
· Consistently deliver high quality services on time, with a focus on responsiveness, organisation, efficiency and helpfulness.
· Assist in identifying and implementing ways to develop and deliver improvements to the service provided.
Position Expectations
· Work with Lead Data Architect and HR Data Team Leader to map the data in and used by PeopleSoft and associated systems (Taleo, Orbit)
· Consider GDPR implications of all data integrations and changes
· To specify, code and implement changes to the PeopleSoft system
· To plan and manage the deployment of upgrades to PeopleSoft
· Executing the data cleansing/maintenance strategy
· Contributing to and coordinating training sessions and training materials to help train users of the PeopleSoft system
· Working with key client stakeholders to provide the information and system capabilities they require
· Work with Lead Data Architect and HR Data Team Leader to provide downstream systems with the data feeds they need

· Ability to work with HR Business Partners and other related functional leads to ensure PeopleSoft is fully and accurately integrated with the firm’s related applications
· Verbal and written communication skills and be able to create technical design documents.
· Ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Knowledge of software development tools, practices, and lifecycle methodologies.
· Working knowledge of Application Packages, Objects, Classes, Properties and Methods.
Previous Experience
· Minimum 3 years of experience in the configuration and maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 including technical PeopleSoft experience with Update Manager, Change Assistant, App Designer, People Code, Event Mapping, Activity Guides, Related Content Framework, Notifications Framework and strong SQL.
· Application development experience working with PeopleSoft HR applications, with good functional knowledge.
· Thorough knowledge of the key elements of the PeopleSoft schema, and is able to ensure that third party interfaces are API compliant
· Understanding of Record, Page and Component People Code and the Component Processor.
· Experience developing application customizations, interfaces and reports.
· Understanding of the systems development life cycle.
