Job Summary
Resort manager is expected to run the resort & hotel on his own calibre by coordinating with all the departments, room boys, cooks
Resort manager has to operate from his place of posting and following the instructions from the Lucknow head office.
Resort manager need to have high self-confidence to achieve the desired level of professionalism in the management of the resort and should not indulge in any experiment with our system. He should be confident with his managerial abilities and ultimately leading to running of the Resort.
He should be able to appoint the staff for running the resort looking into the viability factor, after getting approval from head office.
Resort manager must possess communication skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, convince, self and influence professionals, corporate employees and/or hotel guests
You need to ensure that the commitment with the guest are met at all levels right from start to end of their visit.
Customer service/ Guest relations - a proactive attitude with guests is needed & the ability to deal promptly with any issues as and when they arise.
Meet/greet guests on arrival and transfer them to/from accommodations.
Health and safety checks- regular checks to be carried out in line with our company standards & procedures giving a very clean atmosphere in rooms, restaurant and in Kitchen.
Completion of all relevant paperwork accurately and promptly.
Responsible for safekeeping & recording of all payments from guest.
Plan and promote new scheme/ program for customers.
Facilitate the efficient and effective resort rooms operation.
You have to source the kitchen stock and ensure that wastage is within permissible limits.
You have to ensure that all the norms of resort and kitchen operation are followed without violating the local administration and local Thana /LIU norms.
Foreign guest check in/check out procedures are followed as per the local by laws.
Confident, friendly, flexible and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour.
Committed to achieving excellent customer service.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Ability to self-motivate and to work without supervision.
Experience of team management and staff motivation.
Management Experience of working within the Hotel industry.
Able to work well under pressure.
Good team player.
Excellent written and spoken English
Good knowledge of common IT programmes, including EXCEL, WORD, and email.
Driving Licence.
Responsibilities and Duties
Targets: -
The customer satisfaction should be not less than 80% in excellent category, failing which, it will be viewed very seriously and in case of very bad results, it may result to proportionate deduction from the Payable reimbursement.
In no case the total outgoing should exceed the revenue generation of the unit which you are in command. If it happens, then the salary and other Reimbursement will be done as per priority as per the funds available.
Your target will be the total sale of food / restaurant bill should be 50% of the total revenue generated at the resort in a particular month.
