Job Description

Position Summary
Manage suppliers' quality and compliance activity to meet or exceed all customer quality requirements as part of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Product inspection, process and quality system audit and report; follow up non-conformities, failure analysis and improvements.
- Participate on new project development process.
- On-site monitoring suppliers' manufacturing process and quality controls so to ensure product quality.
- Suppliers training and development;
- Manage the customer compliant with 8D approach.
- Communicate with related departments to ensure quality requirement are met.
- Conducting weekly, monthly supplier quality performance review in terms of supplier's FPY report, audit issue, customer complaining issue, etc.
- Warranty quality handling and product failure analysis.

- Set standard, allocate resources effectively, monitor the progress to ensure requirements are met, and hold individual and team accountable.

Good understanding and rich experiences in quality control and quality assurance: 7 QC tool, CPK, DOE, ISO9001, TS16949, ISO14000 etc.

Outsource quality supervisors
Impact of the position
Make sure quality is considered and well controlled from the start of a new product in its whole launching process: design stage, EB stage, Pilot run stage etc.
Benefit our products quality from the start and save money and time with related QA work.
Relationship - Internal
Active interaction with other functional heads within the company and related team to new projects quality activity and quality issues.
External
Active interaction with other functional heads within the company and related team to new projects quality activity and quality issues.
Interacted with customers for dealing with quality issues or quality improvement activity.
Required Candidate profile
Person Specifications
- Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years working experience for quality operations, Process Control and familiar with FMEA, MSA, SPC, DOE etc. tools.
- Prefer to have (suppliers) quality management experiences.
Good English reading, writing and speaking.
- Chinese reading, writing and speaking is preferable.
- Good communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and pro-actively
- A self-starter with a 'hands-on' approach
