Job Description

§ 8 to 10 years of IT sales experience selling IT infra, software, and services – in customer facing roles. Experience of leading and managing the engagement with large global accounts will be advantage.
§ Ability to operate in a very dynamic changing environment based on client behavior and requirements.
§ Behavioral traits: Self-motivated, high passion and drive for success, tenacity, enjoys challenging assignments.
§ A strong track record of success in previous roles, esp with large enterprise customers.
§ Good business acumen, selling and customer engagement skills.
§ Strong articulation and communication skills, to be effective in front of a CXO audience.
§ Ability to call very high (CXO levels and LOB heads ), engage multiple customer stakeholders, influence customer buying behavior and technology choices, as opposed to simply fulfilling established customer needs. Ability to operate in a very dynamic changing environment based on unpredictable customer needs.
§ A self-aware individual - confident of his strengths but aware of areas that need improvement.
§ Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, channel, support, BD, training, inside, marketing, legal etc.) to ensure customer success. NOT a ‘lone wolf’

Summary of the role and responsibilities § Manage Greenfield Global accounts in BFSI vertical.
§ Ability to work with a ‘hunter’ mindset to grow AWS footprint exponentially by acquiring new workloads through cross selling/up selling techniques and elevating the quality and depth of our engagement in these accounts.
§ Use his/her knowledge and experience of engaging with customers across India and leverage our product portfolio and make an entry into these accounts
§ Identify and orchestrate executive connects/ mapping of AWS leadership with customer leadership to build a strong mindshare for AWS technologies.
§ Be a team player to leverage support from all AWS teams (Partner, Marketing, Proserv, Migrations) to build his / her account strategy and deliver the desired results.

§ Experience selling cloud solutions

§ Experience operating in a ‘challenger’ mode - where the candidate has had to swim ‘upstream’ (eg compete against established rivals, or in new/difficult markets) and challenge status-quo (sold a new ‘way’ of doing something).

Sales experience in large Global accounts is a plus
Sales experience in the BFSI vertical is a plus

Preferred Qualifications: Engineer/ MBA
