About you:
The Executive Chef takes ownership for the overall success of the evolving, dynamic and innovative Food Program. The Executive Chef provides high level culinary expertise, creativity, and project support to the Culinary department, managing, implementing and supporting all food related programs in a multi-unit operation. The Executive Chef supports BOH operating systems and QA standards, culinary training and mentoring, and culinary innovation and R/D across cafés and catering.
The great things you’ll do:
The Executive Chef will focus on culinary excellence and the experience for the Food program in order to support operational excellence. This position reports into the Regional Executive Chef and will leverage their strong culinary and operational skills to partner with key stakeholders (culinary, nutrition, marketing, behavioral science, concept development, innovation, procurement, risk management, operations and people approach) to promote with standards, Food+ expectations and enhance user (partner) experience.
What we look for in the perfect candidate:
Degree from a post secondary culinary arts training program.
2 years in a professional kitchen or bakery in similar position with like volume and quality food service establishment
Strong passion for great food and hospitality
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Maintain a positive attitude under pressure and motivate team
Working knowledge of Docs, Sheets, Slides & Drive
Manages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to follow all Health & Safety standards
Demonstrates good judgement and decision making skills
Maintain a positive attitude under pressure and motivate team
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
Responsibilities:
Culinary
Oversee the preparation of well balanced, plant forward meals through the day
Sets and maintains operational standards, drives culinary excellence and quality standards
Has a Passion for quality food preparation and taste
Ensures that all products and ingredients that are used are purchased following sector and Food+ purchasing standards and sustainability commitments.
Promotes a culture of Food and Workplace Safety
Supports testing and implementation of Food+ culinary initiatives. Ensure initiatives meet deliverables, oversee pilot implementation.

Administrative
Supports menu, food safety, and workplace safety reviews
Meets all timelines for payroll, service, accounts receivable, human resources, corporate office and all other timelines given by
