Stepin Career Consultancy is looking for the position of “HR Manager” for one of its client who is a leading manufacturing company for GI Wires, Conductors, Hot Rolled products and construction steel.

· Years of experience: minimum 8 years of experience in relevant field, of which minimum 3-5 years’ experience of overseeing HR Operations in the manufacturing sector in plant

Core Competencies : -
· Establishing a new HR Department for the factory for expansion.
· Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with Nirmal Group strategic plans and vision and communicate them in factory.
· Partnering with the management team, to facilitate the building / review of talent processes and culture that create a superior level of organizational performance.
· Working with line leaders to identify necessary staffing levels and talent gaps to support the talent recruitment and development of senior leaders.
· Ensure consistent HR policies, procedures, practices and standards across the organization.
· Understands, follows and enforces all established policies, procedures and recognized practices.
· Responsible for the investigation and administration of worker compensation claims, record keeping, and documentation.
· Maintains records and compiles reports concerning personnel related data such as hires, turnover, employee programs, performance appraisals, wage progression, and absenteeism rates.
· Performance Management Coordinate with shift managers for execution of workmen appraisals, Consolidate appraisal ratings in desired format
· HR Policy Design and Revision: Communicate and implement HR policies at factory and resolve queries.
· Plans and coordinates new employee onboarding to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
· Analyzes training needs to design employee and leadership training and development, including safety programs.
· Ensuring high Employee Engagement levels
· Serves as the liaison between management and employees by handling questions and assisting in the resolution of employee related issues.
· Provides effective guidance and coaching to Plant Leadership, relating to employee concerns, problems, and disciplinary action to comply with company policies.
Skills:
· Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources / Industrial Relations / Personnel Management
· 08 years+ Experience; of which minimum 3-5 years’ experience of overseeing HR Operations in the manufacturing sector in plant
· Proven experience and track record of overseeing Corporate HR & Employee Relations across multi location manufacturing sites.
· Thorough knowledge of Manpower Planning, Employee Engagement and OD interventions
· Experience in overseeing Administration, Security and CSR is preferred.
· Strong knowledge of Statutory requirements and contract/labor laws applicable to the sites
· Experience in working with labor unions (internal and/or external) would be an added advantage
· Influencing skills - work with all internal and external stakeholders to drive results
· Strong drive, energy and commitment
· Analytical capability and understanding of strategic HR issues
· Flexible and adaptable.
· Can think in structured way but can operate in a relatively dynamic business environment
